South Texas Wedding - Stormy and Trevor

It's always a blast for us to shoot a wedding. We LOVE getting to know a couple and walking with them through their big day, capturing their love story in pictures for them to have for the rest of their lives.

But it's even more fun when we get to shoot a wedding for a friend.

Jason and I met Stormy in undergrad at Texas State University,

Stormy was my roommate my senior year,

and we both served as interns [while Jason was a student-leader] at Texas State's Baptist Student Ministry.

And now we were able to join Stormy on her wedding day to Trevor,

and get to capture all their love in little moments throughout the day.

Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Seekamp!

If any couple has ever made their wedding so uniquely their own, it's Joe and Amy.

Both of them are book-lovers (remember this engagement shoot?), 

so of course the girls' bouquets were paper flowers the bride made herself from an old Harry Potter book.

They are also pie-lovers so instead of cakes, guests feasted on mini-pies in the most delicious flavors.

From the smallest details, to the hand-written vows, to the beautiful yet simple decorations inside the Palladium, 

every moment of their ceremony and reception had the fingerprints of Joe and Amy all over it.

It was just the sort of story we love to help tell.
